FAROUK YOUSUF KHALIL AL-MOAYYED

Chairman

Mr. Farouk Yousuf Khalil Al-Moayyed is a Chairman at Bahrain National Holding Co. BSC, an Independent Director at Investcorp Holdings BSC, a Chairman at National Bank of Bahrain, a Chairman at Gulf Hotels Group BSC, a Chairman at Ahlia University, a Chairman at Almoayyed Contracting Group, a Chairman at Ashrafs BGDC, a Chairman at Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex BSC, a Chairman at National Concrete Co. WLL, a Chairman at Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons and a Chairman at Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons Properties Co. WLL.

He is on the Board of Directors at Investcorp Holdings BSC, Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain), Bahrain Insurance Holding Co., Gulf Union Insurance & Reinsurance Co. and Bahrain Emirates Insurance Co. Mr. Al-Moayyed was previously employed as a Chairman by National Finance House, a Chairman by Almoayyed International Group, a Chairman by Al-Wasat Newspaper, a Chairman by Ashrafs WLL, a Chairman-Trustee by Ibn Khuldoon National School, a Vice Chairman by Labour Market Regulatory Authority, and a Chairman by Wafrah for Industry & Development.

PHILIPPE GHANEM

Vice-Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Philippe Ghanem was one of the key driving forces behind the conception and creation of Project Capital Funds Limited. He has a wealth of experience in both establishing and running successful entrepreneurial ventures in the financial services sector.

Prior to joining Project Capital Funds Limited, Philippe was the Founder, Director and Chairman of Squared Financial Services Ltd, a fully-fledged financial brokerage firm based in Dublin, Ireland. He led the creation and development of Squared Financial as a multi-asset class e-trading platform.

Philippe brings to his current role as Vice-Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Project Capital Funds Limited deep expertise in building sophisticated electronic trading platforms as well as strong contacts across international markets. He has extensive knowledge of banking and financial instruments such as bonds, equities, mutual funds, commodities, derivatives, and cash and treasury management. He also has experience in trading a wide range of financial instruments as well as core asset and fund management.

Philippe is a regular contributor to international and business media including CNBC, Forbes, Reuters as well as specialist trade publications.

He received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration from the International University of Geneva in 2002.

Philippe is fluent in English, French and Arabic.

VIJAY SINGH

Chief Finance and Risk Officer

Dr. Singh has over 20 years of professional experience in the US, India, Hong Kong and the Philippines. Dr. Singh joined Project Capital Holding as Chief Risk Officer in 2010. In this role, he maintains comprehensive oversight of all risk at Project Capital Holding and its subsidiary company Project Capital Funds Limited.

During the last ten years Dr. Singh was the Vice President of Finance and Chief Risk Officer at PPL Corp (Allentown, PA), a Fortune 300 company engaged in the generation, trading, hedging and distribution of electric power and energy products in the US and UK. While at PPL Corp, he managed a US $2 billion pension fund and led seven groups including quantitative risk modeling, risk control, market analysis, insurance, credit risk and risk systems. Prior to that, he was Vice President and Risk Control Officer at ConAgra Foods (Omaha, NE) responsible for treasury operations and the management of commodity, interest rate and currency risk on an enterprise wide basis.

Dr. Singh’s international experience also includes banking and project financing in India and Hong Kong, strategic consulting in the Philippines and as a professor of finance at leading graduate business schools in USA.

Dr. Singh has a Ph.D. in Finance with a minor in Economics from the Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio), an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Asian Institute of Management in Manila (the Philippines) and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics and Mathematics from the University of New Delhi (India).
